TVM System Installation

Installing the client software

  1. You must have Apples System 7.0 or greater installed on your Mac.

  2. Drag 'The Virtual Meeting' folder from the Conferencing Tools disk on to your hard disk.

  3. Drag all the Samples on the sample disk into the 'The Virtual Meetingı folder you just created.

  4. You will need some Communications tools and QuickTime installed in the Extensions Folder inside your system Folder. You will find the Communications tools in the Extensions folder on the System Extensions disk.

  5. Copy the following Comm tools into your Extensions folder.

  6. Copy the following System Extensions into your Extensions folder.

  7. If you are going to do Web Conferencing put a copy of Netscape Navigator (version 1.1 or newer) inside your TVM folder and rename the application to "Netscape Navigator'.

  8. If you are going to use Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Acrobat Exchange LE in a conference put a copy of Exchange inside The Virtual Meting folder and rename the application to "Acrobat Exchange'.

  9. In order for you to do Web Conferencing or AppleScript Conferencing you will need one of the following conferencing extensions file in your Extensions folder.
  10. Restart Your macintosh

  11. That's all there is to it.
