The Test Administrator is a HyperCard stack that can be used to create interactive testing applications for use in a multimedia conferencing environment. The Test Administrator stack can generate a testing stack for distribution to the students. The text in the testing stacks that are distributed to the students is encrypted (scrambled). The instructor can use the Test Administrator to control the real-time administration of the test by decrypting (unscrambling) the questions in the test on all students computer's simultaneously. The whole test may be decrypted at once or the individual questions can be decrypted separately. When a student answers a question, the answer is returned to the Test Administrator electronically and recorded.
In a pop quiz mode, where the questions are decrypted one at a time the instructor can view the tabulation of test results graphically so he or she may gauge how well the class is comprehending the information.
The Test Administrator comes with templates for multiple choice, true/false, and essay questions. Additional graphics, animation or video can be added to any question and can be controlled by the instructor if desired.
