Visual Communications Software for Macintosh and Windows Computers

Seth Snyder

Seth's professional experience includes many different areas in the computer software and professional audio industry. He has been involved in the software industry, and his design experience covers many diverse areas.

At Recording Studio Equipment Company Seth managed the company, performed all the sales and marketing functions as well as the design work. Designing and equipping recording studios required Seth's knowledge of electronics, audio and acoustical design. He developed custom audio recording studios for clients like The Bee Gees, KC and the Sunshine Band, James Last, and Bob Marley and the Wailers.

At Modular Perfection as a design engineer he was involved in the development of the first prefabricated recording studio acoustics. Modular Perfection manufactured prefabricated acoustical walls for clients like The Sony Corp of America, The Bee Gees, Right Track Recording Studio, Coconuts Recording Studio, Stark Lake Recording Studio and TK Productions.

At Studio Master Systems he received a US and British patent for "an apparatus and method for reestablishing settings on the controls of an audio mixer". He also designed and implemented the software for Studio Master Plus the product that embodied his patents.

At computer Phone Solutions he worked on MacPBX and PCtoPBX the first Screen Based Telephony products ever to be developed for PC's.

At Apple Computer Seth worked as a contractor and employee for 5 years. There he designed and developed over 20 software systems for Apples Information Systems and Technologies and Customer Support departments.

Seth enjoyed considerable success in the professional audio industry as Studio Designer and in the computer industry as a contract programmer. However being aware of the constant changes in the electronics industry, he became interested in personal visual communications. With some of these ideas in mind, Seth conducted a feasibility study to determine the viability of a product capable of visual communications at regular software prices. When he found that such a system was worthwhile and could be developed, Seth formed RTZ Software.
